Elvis
Hey ya’ll, I’m a two-year-old, 80lb Elvis and to paraphrase my namesake, when I get adopted, it’ll be no secret! Of course the real Elvis was talking about getting married but I would swivel my hips and shake all over for a family to protect, a full food bowl, a safe place to sleep, and lots and lots and lots of petting. A peanut butter banana sandwich might be pretty good, too since I need to gain weight. I already have white fur so I do not need a white jumpsuit; I only need someone to “love me tender, love me sweet, never let me go.” If you’re thinking about it, thank you, thank you very much. Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
