My Story
How do you do, Pyrenees Friends? I’m Duncan, and I’m doing just dandy because I am now a part of the dog-devoted GPRA family! My GPRA buds tell me I’m a slam dunk due to my many delightful qualities. Firstly, I am very dapper from my dashing coat to my deep soulful eyes. At least, that’s what I’ve been told! Secondly, I’m housetrained, so your dwelling will stay clean. Also, you could call me Duncan Dependable as you can count on me to be easy-going in any situation. I don’t react to other dogs or traffic at all. Another nickname of mine should be Duncan Debonair because I’m so darn charming! Every new person I meet is deemed a friend, and I am dazzled by all new friends since they show their Duncan dedication by giving me lots of pets. I live for attention! Being a laid-back dude is just who I am which means I’m a dream to walk on the leash too. My GPRA besties have noticed I’m a darling of cats as well, so I would fit in almost any home. For now, I’ll daydream of my doting family who will scoop me up and love me forever!
Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
