Howdy, ladies and gents! I’m mighty pleased to meet y’all! I’m Duke, and while I’m not one of the Dukes of Hazzard, I do like riding in a car. Just check out my pictures! In one of the photos, I’m sleeping like a baby. I used to live in the great outdoors, but I’m taking a shine to this indoor life of soft blankets and dog treats anytime I want ’em. I’d like nothing better than spending the day at home with my human and doggy companions. People and dogs are the butter to my biscuit! They love me too because I’m just so sweet. Sweet as banana pudding, you might even say. When you wanna throw a barbecue in the backyard, I’ll be there. Just make sure you’ve got a six-foot fence because I am a bit of an escape artist. The place I really want to be, though, is by your side. Will you take me home?

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
