Duke

Hellos. Are you ready to play with the lovable and playful Duke?  I have lived a good life with another family but was surrendered due to my owner’s health issues. My previous owner adored me, and I hope my future family does as well. Not to be overly braggadocious, but here is what my previous owner says about me:
“Duke is great with kids of all ages.” (Yes, kids are the best!)
“Duke is good with other dogs.” (My best friend, Howie, is also up for adoption, so please consider adopting him, too.)
“Duke knows commands such as sit, stay, come, off and down.” (This is good stuff, right? I do my best to remember these commands and will only get better with consistency in reminding me.”
“Duke is gentle.” (Yes, I love all humans!)
“Duke is a leader.” (When I am with Howie, I am the one that gets us going.”)
Like many Pyrs, the one thing that makes me a bit nervous is fireworks. As long as I am with my humans, I’m ok. Just know that I may need your reassurance on fireworks nights.
So, that’s a bit about me. I cannot wait to learn all about you.
