Any chance you need a Great Pyrenees? Well, let me rephrase, everyone NEEDS a Pyr, I should ask if you need me?  Sometimes forever is shorter than a Pyr thinks it will be. Life changed for this 2.5-year-old, 75 lb. girl when unexpected things happened for my GPRA mom and dad. There’s no deep drama or anger, it’s just life. Tearfully, they’re trusting GPRA to find me a new, safe home. According to mom, I’m very sweet, very social, love and protect my people & property and am great with other dogs. I don’t love human puppies (I think they’re called “babies”) and like so many dogs, thunder and lightning scare me. Oh, and this is kind of silly, but I don’t like being in the rain when it’s dark. Daylight rain is OK, I mean, it’s wet but not upsetting. If you please email info@greatpyratlanta.com, click “Contact Us” or choose “Apply to Adopt” below, the GPRA adoption team will tell you about my hips. The car accident is long gone but I need a family who can adjust to my physical abilities the same way I am.

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
