Hello, Darlings! I’m Diamond, and I fit my name because I’m one special girl! One reason diamonds are so unique is because they are the hardest substance on Earth. What makes me remarkable is I love learning. My foster dad said I learned how to use the doggy door in ONE day! The doggy door is great because I can go outside to potty or play with my foster dog sibling. Diamonds are also a symbol of love and trust, and I certainly love and trust my doggy foster brother and human foster family. When I’m lying next to my humans, I “shine bright like diamond,” as the song goes, because being near them makes me so happy! Another famous singer said, “Diamonds are a girl’s best friend,” and besides my foster family, my best friends are my toys which I play with all by myself. They say, “Diamonds are forever,” and I’m excited to find my forever home with you!

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
