I could tell you about my very upsetting past in Jasper, GA but I want you to love me for who I will be, not who I used to be. I’m Damien, a three or four-year-old, 64 lb. guy described as a quietly affectionate leaner, seemingly very trainable, and enjoys cuddling. It’d be great if I had more information to win your heart but I’m an honest guy who won’t make up stories just for an ear rub. Well, it might be worth it for a family and a lifetime of ear rubs but let’s build our relationship on honesty. I’m still getting used to leash walking and if you keep my line close and tight, I’m pretty good; give me a full lead and we might end up in Alaska! Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
