Dakota, here! I’m glad you swung by our GPRA website. Let me tell you what a good boy I am! I’m house-trained, I can be left home alone without being crated, and I know some commands. Us pyrs may be stubborn, but I’ve learned “sit,” “stay,” and “come.” When I meet new friends, I get so excited and jump up, so I will need to learn “down” too. You can see in my pictures that I’m always ready for a new adventure! Unlike a lot of pyrs, I actually like water. Hiking in nature and playing in streams is so much fun! An active family would be a pyr-fect for me because I enjoy being outside and going for long walks. I am strong on the leash, so I need someone confident and who will work on leash training with me. Whether we’re in the great outdoors or cozy at home, I like being with another dog too. It’s fun to have a playmate in the backyard or a companion on the trails. I’d love a family to snuggle at home with too. I like getting pets and just being with my humans. If you’re looking for an affectionate and energetic boy, I’m right here waiting to come home with you!
