My Story

Hi, I’m Dahlia 🌸

I came to rescue from a small south Georgia shelter after being dumped at a common spot, where kind people kept me safe along with my friends Oakley and Rose. We don’t know much about our past, but what everyone knows about me now is that I’m sweet, affectionate, and full of charming little quirks.

I love attention and really want to play! I’ll tilt my head and twist my body in the cutest way to invite you to join me—then I sometimes pause, unsure what the next step is (it makes people laugh). I can be a little vocal with soft whines, especially when I’m excited or hoping for company. I light up when I see other dogs and would likely enjoy having a doggy buddy to show me the ropes. Oh—and I’m a fan of lung treats too. 😉

Right now, I’m in boarding, waiting for a foster or forever home where I can blossom and build confidence. I’m small, lovable, and eager to connect—I just need someone willing to say yes to me. 💕
