David Bowie sang about ch-ch-changes, but I don’t know if he ever had to find a new home because of other peoples’ changes. This boy is only 3 years old, a proud 105 lbs. and I need a new family because of human things I don’t understand. It’s OK, though, because GPRA is helping me find new people. They told sharing a list of all my awesomeness will help so here goes…I’m good with kids, cats, and dogs. Men aren’t my favorite, but I warm up to them as we get to know each other. I’m smart and know what to do when I hear sit, touch, and lay down. Bet you I can learn more words if there are enough treats involved, too. When my current family comes home, I wait patiently in the living room for them to come say hello to me. Walks are great, I’ve been known to dart at those noisy things on wheels once in a while so best to keep a good hold on the leash. Light thunderstorms are manageable; I get anxious during STRONG storms. If you please email info@greatpyratlanta.com, click “Contact Us” or choose “Apply to Adopt” below, the GPRA humans will tell you what helps me when I get nervous.

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
