My Story
Hi there! My name’s Cotton, and I’m here to tell you all about myself as I look for my forever home! I’m a very sweet and loving girl, and I absolutely love getting attention from humans.
I’m doing really well in my foster home! They’re so kind to me, and I’m always happy to cuddle up with them or just hang out.
I’ve been used to living outside, but let me tell you, I’m really loving the indoor life now! There’s so much more comfort and warmth, and I’m enjoying every bit of it. I’m playful and easygoing, and I’m always ready to have fun.
I’m housetrained, but I do best when I’m on a schedule. When I see other dogs, I can be a little vocal and stop to bark at them. I can be protective of my territory if other dogs come onto the property, but I’m just making sure my space is safe. As for cats, I’m not sure how I feel about them yet since I’ve never met one. When it comes to food, I’m not protective at all. I know the “Sit” command, and I’m always ready to please.
If you’re looking for a sweet, playful, and loving companion who loves attention, I could be the perfect match for you!

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
