Chula
Hi there, humans! I am Chula! I am yet another Stryker pup. Our mom is a Great Pyrenees, and Dad is an Anatolian Shepherd. So, I am an Anatolian Pyrenees. I am currently housing with my sister Shea!
My Pyr-tastic foster parents have a lot to say about little me:
“Chula is more cautious and takes a little longer to warm up to everyone, but now that she’s comfortable, she is a big snuggler. She will eventually abandon your lap but curl up at your feet.” (I love cuddling up to my humans after a long day!)
“She has the “Pyr paw” down already, which is adorable but can be tough with those tiny short puppy claws. She has double dewclaws. She doesn’t venture out immediately to greet new people entering the room.” (Although I am a little shy, I will be sure to greet you by offering you my Pry paw!)
“Chula is learning how to give some notice that she has to go outside.” (I’m working hard at figuring out all of this potty outside business!)
“They like to sleep in the crate with the door open but do NOT like being shut in or left alone at night.” (I do not like being confined to tiny spaces. Lots of breathing room will make me happy!)
“Both pups are great with other dogs. Our male Pyr is not interested in playing, and the pups are smart enough just to leave him alone. They like treats and are very interested in every crinkly bag.” (Crinkly bags will always get this girl’s attention! In the future, treats will help teach me to “sit,” “come,” and “stay”!)
Your Pyrly Pyr-fect, Chula ❤

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
