Hi, Everyone! I’m Chivero, and I’m charmed to meet you! My GPRA friends tell me that I’m a big champ like a lot of pyr boys, but I have a sweet personality to match. You might even say I’m as sweet as cherry pie. Just check out my cheeky smile in the first picture! When I’m in the backyard, I can’t wait to show off my cheery nature by romping around in the grass. Just make sure you have a six-foot fence, please, because I am an escape artist. Don’t worry, though; as long as I have a boundary, I will want to be where you are. My GPRA pals say that I’m human-centered as I like to be with my people as much as possible. When we sit together in the living room, I love to give kisses and get attention. If I want more attention, I’ll even give you pyr paw! Another cool thing about me is that I ride well in the chariot you guys call a car. As long as I’m with my family, I’m like a little cherub in the backseat. We can travel on foot too because I’m chivalrous on the leash; that’s a fancy way of saying I’m great on the leash! My loving and affectionate nature means I am very cooperative with being groomed as well. Can I be your chosen pup? Consider adopting me today, and we can start a new chapter of our lives together!

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
