Hi, do you recognize me? I’m Chase, a 2.5-year-old, 85 lb. GPRA alumni who finally knows what he wants in life: A BIG YARD! It’s sad leaving my current family but the noise and constant activity in the house and neighborhood were just too stimulating for me. Cars, loud vehicles, storms, and strangers, made me overly protective. Thanks to GPRA’s most paw-somest trainer, I’m sooo much better! I’m learning a friend visiting is a good thing, that I can protect what’s mine without scaring people, and other dogs and cats might be worth getting to know. I need to keep working on these things, but the good news is I’m very food motivated. I love food so much, I’ve even counter surfed a time or two but let’s be honest, what Pyr hasn’t? I’m an athletic, agile dog who needs time to be active then a quiet place to calm down after. My family would’ve bought me a big piece of property if they could have because they really wanted me to stay. Still, it’s time for a different kind of life, and deep down, they knew a new home was best for me. Yours maybe? Can we at least talk about it? If yes, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or click “Apply to Adopt” below.

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
