I’m Chase, a 3-year-old, 85 lb. GPRA alumni who finally knows what he wants in life: A YARD TO PLAY IN! I can be protective. Sometimes people visiting, cars, loud vehicles, storms, and strangers, send me into my protective mode. I need to keep working on that, but the good news is I’m very food motivated. I’ve even counter surfed a time or two but let’s be honest, what Pyr hasn’t? Thanks to GPRA’s most paw-somest trainer, I’m sooo much better! I’m an athletic, agile dog who needs time to be active. Did I tell you what a smart boy I am? I love to learn new commands and stay busy so I’ll need a fur-ever person who is committed to working with me and making sure I remember all of my skills. Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
