Hey, all. I am Charlotte. GPRA stepped up to rescue me after my previous owners no longer claimed me from the local shelter. You see, I got out and ended up in the shelter. At first, my owners claimed me. Sadly, the last time I escaped, they did not show up to get me. Thank you, GPRA!)

Since I am still a youngster, I have lots and lots to learn. GPRA says that I am a diamond in the rough because I’m such a fun, full-of-life, and gorgeous girl. They also said that I am a sweetheart that loves hugs. (Of course, I love hugs, I’m a Great Pyrenees!)

Obedience training, patience, consistency, lots of exercise, and routine will help me thrive and make you proud. If you put the time into teaching young me all I need to know now, you will have a well-mannered, devoted, and loyal guardian.

I’m proud to share that my leash walking skills are good and improving thanks to GPRA’s dog-loving walkers’ time and help. (These humans are Pyr-awesome!)

As I transition to my furever home and family, it will be best if I am the only dog in the house for a while as I am still learning proper manners with other dogs. Since I have not had any help in this area, it will only take me a short time to learn how to be my best Pyr-self! (Remember, I’m still learning and need your help!) Come meet me soon, because I will be snatched up quickly!
Pyrly yours, Charlotte

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
