Charlie L

Great Pyrenees

I’m Charlie, a 3-year-old, 65 lb. and am loving my new foster family. I am working on missing my best friend in the whole world that crossed over the kitty rainbow bridge. I had my own kids to play with and lots of space to run around. I have learned what big fluffy beds are and snuggling up with my human! It’s the best. I know I need a very patient dog-savvy owner because being in the house is new to me. I don’t always like other dogs. Some are OK, some, not so much. I might be happiest being the only pup in the house. I love to be where my people are and did I mention that I am loving being in the house?!?! I am also winning at house training, just a couple of spots where I forgot. I am doing great walking on a leash and I LOVE to play. Belly rubs are also on the top of my list. How did I not know about belly rubs? The good news is I’m ready to find my fur-ever home and hopefully another dog-friendly cat. Maybe some kids! Will you please email or click “Apply to Adopt” below so we can find out?

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
