Just like my cartoon namesake, I’m friendly and easy going but at 1.3-years-old and 80 lbs., I can’t float in the air to say hello. Instead, I greet people and dogs with smiles and tail wags. I’m not food or toy aggressive although one time another dog fought with me about food, I don’t know why. Running and screaming kids sometime make me nervous so I might be more like Casper the Ghost than I thought if I like quiet places. Here’s what really matters: I’m a healthy, happy dog ready for a forever home with good leaders, lots of petting, playtime, and love. Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
