Sugarplum
Hello, I’m Sugarplum, and I’m here to meet you! Everyone knows there’s nothing sweeter than a pyr puppy, so the candy name fits me just right! I know you’ll be sweet on me because I’m such a happy and loving girl. My foster mama says that my nose boops are as soft as a nougat center. Being near my people is my favorite thing! I’m good at listening to them too. Sit, coming when called, and fetch are skills I’ve already mastered. They were as easy as plum pie! I’m still learning how to not jump up when excited and not to pull on the leash, but with continued training and positive reinforcement, I will do better. Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
