Well, I’m Camela, a 3-year-old, 80 lbs. girl who took one too many steps away from my owner’s property and ended up with GPRA. So now I’m ready for a different kind of journey, one where I go from human to human collecting treats and ear rubs. Or maybe long walks where we’re both attached to the same leash, so I don’t lose you and you don’t lose me. I’d love to tell you more awesome stuff about myself so you fall hopelessly in love with me, but I don’t know anything else other than they say I’m good with other dogs. Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
