My Story

Hello! I’m Buddy Pan, a lovable Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever mix, and I’m on a journey to find my forever home. I’m a big cuddle bug who loves to snuggle and be close to my humans!

I’ve been with my current foster family for a few weeks, and I’m already making great strides. When I first arrived, I was a bit overwhelmed and had some fence-fighting moments with the resident dogs, but after some face-to-face playtime, we’ve become buddies, and the backyard is much calmer now!

I’m learning to control my excitement and not jump up on people, and I’m doing great with my roomies, Bandit, Grits, and Kiun. We eat next to each other without any issues, and I’m not food-guarding anymore. I even let my foster mom take my bowl while I’m eating—what a good boy I am!

I’m fully housetrained with no accidents and I get along splendidly with cats and people alike. My leash manners are improving, and while I’ve been known to be reactive to other dogs and people in the past, I’m learning to stay calm on our walks. I’ve had some great outings, like at the vet and Home Depot, where I was a perfect gentleman!

I have a lot of energy and love to run, fetch, and retrieve toys. I’d thrive in a home where I have a furry friend to play with, as I’m used to being around other dogs. I’m eager to please and very trainable, just like my Golden Retriever side!

I’m looking for a dog-savvy adopter who can continue my training journey. With the right guidance, I’ll be the fantastic companion you’ve been waiting for!
