Hi, there! I am the magnificent Buddha boy! I think you will agree that it’s hard to accept that my previous humans sent me to a shelter because they moved. Yes, a shelter! Why would humans do this to me? I’m just a loveable and fun young Pyr eager to learn everything possible to be the very best-mannered and faithful companion! Are you ready and willing to invest the patience, time, and training to help me? If yes, then I am your boy!
Here is what GPRA’s volunteer walkers know about me.
“Buddha is sweet, adorable, and playful! He can be a spitfire and full of energy.” (Of course, I am a bit rambunctious, I’m a young and fun boy!)
“Budda will be awesome with a dedicated owner who will put in the time to train him. He shows great adoration for some of GPRA’s walkers and will be a wonderful buddy.” (If you want to be my buddy, I’ll be yours!)
“Buddha is such a smart, friendly, and affectionate boy.” (I try to be a good boy, and I also have a lot to learn yet!)
“Buddha is very curious and friendly with the other dogs. He loves to entice other dogs into playing with him.” (Playtime is the best time!)
Pyr-ready for the best life, Buddha

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
