My Story

Hi, I’m Breeze — and I’m learning how to enjoy the good life, one step at a time. 🐾

I came from a tough start — picked up as a stray after being abandoned, probably after living as a farm dog. The shelter was loud and scary, but now I’m in a safe, loving foster home where everything is new… and a little bit magical.

I’ve discovered dog beds — and let me tell you, indoor life is pretty amazing. Everything’s still new to me, but I’m loving it. I’ve even learned to walk on a leash and stopped doing what they call the “alligator roll.”

I’m smart, and I’m trying hard to figure out this new world. Thanks to the patience and love from my foster family, I’m learning fast. My Pyr best friend and roommate, Betty, has been showing me the ropes, too. She’s a great mom and even lets me spend time with her three adorably chubby puppies. I’ve taken on the very important role of Aunt Breeze!

I love people, dogs, and cats. I wag my tail when you talk to me and take treats ever so gently. I’m sweet, gentle, and ready to be someone’s special girl.

My foster mom gave me a bath and brushed out my fur — no fuss from me at all! I’m easy to handle and love a little pampering.

If you have a little time, a lot of heart, and room in your life for a loyal companion who’s eager to learn and love, I’d be so happy to meet you.

With hope,
Breeze 💗

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
