Do you enjoy traveling? Me, too! In fact, that’s why this 1.5-year-old, 100 lb boy is now a GPRA rescue looking for a new family. My buddy Bailey and I loved wandering and eventually, our family just gave us to the county shelter rather than paying another reclaim fee. I wish I could tell you more but I’m counting on a foster family to teach me about, well, me. Since most Pyrs are gentle, loving, protective, and snuggly, I’m hoping the odds are in my favor and I’m already that kind of dog. I just need the right person, or family, to help me stop roaming. Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
