Blanca R
Hello! I’m Blanca! Please keep reading if you are dog-smart, patient, and ready to help grow this 1-year-old, 80 lb. female into a regal, well-loved Pyr. My owner says I’m very sweet with kids and adults, that I like strangers, and I’m great with other dogs. I might like cats; I’ll let you know after I meet one for the first time. Like most young dogs, I need some consistent and gentle training. Hopefully my new family will teach me to walk on a leash, sit down when I greet people instead of launching myself into their arms (I can’t help it, I just get so excited!!), and stay in my own yard. I love people and kids so much I’ve been jumping the fence to visit the neighbors. Living inside might be nice, too since my family started keeping me on a chain during the day (remember the fence thing) and I sleep alone in an enclosed in porch at night. I’ll work really hard at what humans call potty training. I don’t know why I’m being re-homed but I’m all for GPRA finding me the right fur-ever family! If you’re that family, or want some more information before you decide, please email info@greatpyratlanta.com or click “Apply to Adopt” below.
Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
