Biscotti Basil
Get your Biscotti here! That’s me, Biscotti Basil! I’m a young pyr boy looking for a loving family. Just like coffee and biscotti are the perfect pairing, I’m ready to go the right home for me. I promise to be respectful of your home too because I’m completely housetrained. My personality is as sweet as biscotti as well, and my loving and eager-to-please nature means that I’m a great listener. I already know the commands: sit, stay, and down. Biscotti and basil may seem like a weird combination, but it works just like I get along with almost everybody I meet. I love to hang out with other female dogs and small dogs. I used to live with a female pyr and a cocker spaniel; we were the best of friends! I was even good with the cat. People are my friends too, of course! My GPRA pals say I’m a velcro dog which means I want to be wherever you are. I have fun playing with those young pups you humans call kiddos too. While biscotti may be crunchy, I’m soft and cuddly. I’d love to snuggle and get pets all day! Brushing is like getting pets too, so I also enjoy being brushed. Because I love my humans so much, I do get a little upset when they leave, but after a few barks and whines, I settle down and wait until my beloved people return. In fact, if you leave me some chew toys and bones, I’m content to while away the time getting my chew on! Still, I would really love to go to a family with people who are home more often than not. When new people come to my house, though, I might bark at them a little bit, but I warm up in 30 seconds. I’m a friendly pyr guy, and I love to go on walks to meet new people. Everyone likes taking me on walks too because I’m so easy on the leash. Or, if you want to take me out on your coffee run, we can go as I’m good in the car as well. Will you be the cappuccino to my Biscotti?
Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
