Big Saint
Howdy, y’all! I’m Big Saint, a new arrival to GPRA! My transporters actually think my name fits me well. I’m tall and saintly. While I may not be a saint per se, I am calm and loving. I like to be petted all over. I ride well in the car because I mostly just sleep in it. If the window is open, though, I do like to sniff the air. I will need a little help with training because I’m new to leash walking. I don’t really pull on the leash, so I just need help knowing to stay by your side and which direction we’re going. I’m also a curious boy that perks up at strange sounds and scents. I love treats too, but, really, who doesn’t? I am truly a gentle giant looking for my forever home. I’m hoping that could be yours! Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
