Bianca Gilmore
Buon giorno, my pyr friends! I’m Bianca, and while I’m not Italian, my name sure is. Bianca means “white” in Italian, and I’ve been told I’m a big, fluffy girl with a snowy white coat. Speaking of snow, there’s even snow in sunny Italy in the mountains where people get around by skiing. This signorina has never been skiing, but I do love going places by car. My GPRA transporter said my fur looked gorgeous flowing in the wind when I stuck my head out the window! I enjoy living la dolce vita, which is Italian for the good life, whether I’m taking in the fresh air or getting my ears scratched which I love! My personality fits my dolce vita lifestyle too; my GPRA friends have described me as very affectionate and laid back. With me, you’ll always be living la vita bella, the beautiful life, whether we’re cuddling or on a walk because I’m also good on the leash. I’m a sweet, confident girl who will say grazie mille, thanks a million, when I get to come home with you!

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
