My Story

Hi, I’m Bert! I’m an outgoing, affectionate, and friendly pup who loves nothing more than making people smile. My foster says I’m goofy in the best way—I flop my big feet when I run, flash a grin when we make eye contact, and gallop right over for snuggles.

I get along great with people and other dogs, and I’m a little more easygoing than my sister. I love to run around the yard, then settle down happily in my kennel. Walks are fun for me—I do well on a leash, though sometimes I like to be the leader.

Baths? Not my favorite, but I’ll tolerate them and calm down quickly. Brushing is just fine! Car rides? No problem—I’ll climb right into my crate and settle in for the trip. I respect fences, I don’t drool much, and I bark just the right amount.

One of my favorite things is cuddling. I’ll happily climb into laps or press myself against you for love and attention. With my big heart and goofy charm, I’m ready to find a forever family to share all my love and joy with!
