Hey there, I’m Beau T, yup, another pyr named Beau. It seems to be a popular name for us gorgeous pyr boys! I am 2 years old and around 71 lbs. My mom is terminally ill and contacted GPRA about taking care of me and helping me find a new furever home. They said of course they would so she wouldn’t have to worry about me. I am sad to leave the only home I know but I am grateful for the love and support I have in my new foster family. I have two furry siblings that are showing me the ropes and how to adjust to a pack. I am starting to play and see that my future is bright. I am looking for my forever home so that I can join a family who will love me and play with me. Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
