Bear
I’m thinking about a name change, something more original to go with my very individual personality. At 4-years-old and 90 lbs., I need a strong human leader to bring out my gentle Pyr qualities. We all go through stages and after recent events, I’m ready for the next stage: being my best self every day. Who is this best self you ask? Well, he’s house trained, loves adults, gets along with his canine sister, and perfectly trustworthy home alone. This “current Bear self” is sometimes unsure, or maybe afraid of, other dogs and is always fearful of storms. Like all animals, I instinctively protect myself from things that scare me. I’d like to live with at least one alpha human and probably older kids, if any. Are you looking for a sweet dog and the chance to reinforce good traits? If yes, please email info@greatpyratlanta.com, click “Contact Us” or choose “Apply to Adopt” below.
Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
