Hi there!
BB here, and I like to think I was named after the legendary BB King. I may not play the guitar, but if you look into my soulful eyes they will play on your heartstrings just like my namesake played good ol’ Lucille.
I’m a little bit shy, so don’t expect me to come running out – center stage – right away. Like a musician, I need to warm up first.
Road trips? No problem! I’m good in the car.
I’m also good with kids, but maybe not too young since I need some practice on being a full-time family Pyr.
Why don’t y’all come on down to meet me? I can’t wait for a meet-n-greet – but I prefer to call it a ‘private concert.’

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
