Great Pyrenees
I’ve heard there’s a big gray bear from a kid’s movie with my same name. Wow! Does that mean I’m famous? I’m definitely a big pyr boy, and I do have some beautiful badger markings! I’m also famously good with people. My GPRA friends say I’m definitely a cuddly teddy bear who likes attention and lots of pets. Who wouldn’t want to snuggle with me? The cartoon Baloo sings and dances, so he’s definitely light on his feet. I walk very gracefully too because I’m good on the leash. While film Baloo lives in the jungle, I like to live in a house. The great thing is that I’m basically housetrained; I haven’t had an accident yet! I may not have a movie deal like my namesake, but I’ll make you a deal: adopt me and I’ll love you forever and always.

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
