Hi, I am Baldwin. I’m a 5 years old Pyr/Lab mix. Thanks to my foster family, I have been enjoying what it is like to be loved and cared for. You see, I have been on my own for a while and forgot what it was like to have a nice place to play with and someone to scratch my head each night. I have all the gentle giant qualities of a Pyr, just not the size. I am a very mild-mannered boy, who is ready to be your loyal canine companion. I am pretty low maintenance really – I enjoy leisure walks or just watching neighborhood that are outside the window. I would prefer a cat-free family as I believe they are so much fun to chase. Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
