Hey, y’all! How are you today? I’m Bailey Barnacle, and you can call me Bailey. I am still a young boy learning how to be a well-mannered Pyr, but I’m learning fast and ready for my new life!

I was surrendered because the recovery center where I lived closed. My job at the center was to brighten everyone’s day. Although I was only there a short time, I think I did an excellent job at adding lots of joy.

My foster mom describes me as a charming and beautiful boy that loves affection. Many times, she finds me right by her side when we are in the house together. I’m house-trained, easy-going with other dogs and cats, and enjoy having a place where I can run around, explore and get exercise. Would you believe that I know commands such as sit, down, shake, come, and stay? (Well, I’m not always good with the stay command, but I’m doing Pyr-awesome on learning the others!)

Have I convinced you that I am a Pyr-fect boy for your life? If yes, I cannot wait to meet you. Pyrly happy, Bailey.

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
