Hi, Pyr Pals! I’m Asher! I’m a sweet boy who was just rescued. I want lots of love! All during my freedom ride, I insisted on having ear and head rubs. I LOVE ear rubs! I’m also adept at what you all call Pyr Paw. It’s my version of a high-five that means: more attention, please! All I need is the right person to take me home, and I’ll mesmerize you with my beautiful eyes. They’re like looking into two amber pools of light. I’m also very calm and patient, and I take treats gently too. The GPRA volunteers said I was also a good boy as they brushed me. My warm-hearted personality is reflected in my leash-walking too. My GPRA walker friends say I’m very good on the leash. I enjoy roaming around the play yard as well, so I know a backyard will be fun for me. If you’re looking for a kind, handsome boy, then I’m the one for you!

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
