My Story

Hello! I’m Arden, a sweet young adult looking for my new home. I’m a little shy at first, but once I know you, I am loving and trusting. I like to sleep on the floor near my foster’s bed. When I go on walks, I’m easy going unless I smell something really interesting. Then I pull a little because I have to find that smell! As far as other dogs go, I like them usually. I used to live with a bunch of dogs at my former rescue. I like to meet new people too. I don’t really play with toys anymore, but I do like a good bone to chew on. If you want to take a trip, I love car rides; they’re fun! I mostly like to be around my humans and get pets. If I want more petting and love, I give the famous “Pyr paw” to let you know. If you’re looking for a new companion, I could be your gal!

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
