Apollo H
The original Apollo was a Greek god of medicine, prophecy, and wisdom. That’s a pretty high bar for a 5-year-old, X lb. boy who didn’t go to medical school and can’t predict the future. However, I am very wise because I chose GPRA to help me find my love-you-forever family. My foster mom says I’m great with her female dogs (duh, I’m a Greek god!), very affectionate (again, Greek god), and great with her cats and young son. Some of you may remember me by my first, and much less romantic, GPRA name: Fred. Yep, I’m the same low energy, big lug, who graced this page last year, loves car rides, and really needs help losing weight. I like my Greek god persona better but what I’d like even more is finding my one-and-only family. Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
