Amos
Hi ya’ll, I’m Amos, a 2-year-old, 96 lb. former stray turned GPRA rescue. Or ½ rescue since I still need a home. I wish I could tell you a bunch of stuff about myself to help you fall in love at first reading but sadly, I don’t know anything. Oh wait, I just remembered something: the GPRA vet says I’m sweet and like to rest my head against whomever is petting me. Hey, I have an idea, how about you rescue me, and I’ll rescue you right back? I just quoted the last line of Pretty Woman to show off how smart I am. Want to curl up on the couch and watch movies together? Or maybe build wrist and hand strength petting me endlessly? Or how about doing a taste test with different brands of treats? Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
