Woof! Hi! I am Amara, a pretty, young gal with an injured leg. I am still a pup at 1.5 years old and weigh 73 lbs. That might change a little after I’ve completely healed. Lucky for me I made it to GPRA and they got me all of the medical care that I needed. Now, I just have to chill a bit and get better. My foster family is taking great care of me and even got me a nice comfy bed. For now, I’ll just keep track of what’s happening from over here. Soon I will be ready to PLAY PLAY PLAY! Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
