Hi! I’m Macintosh, a male GPRA Apple puppy who weighed 12 lbs on 10/31/18  and I have a riddle for you: what’s the difference between an apple and a GPRA apple puppy? An apple is seasonal but an apple puppy’s love is forever! You can tell by my picture I am precious but since I’m just a puppy, I’m still getting to know myself. If you choose me, we could get to know each as I grow up!  Just email info@greatpyratlanta.com or click the “Apply to Adopt” button below if you want to talk to a human about me!

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.

I’m Ginger, a female GPRA apple puppy who weighed 10 lbs on 10.31.18 and I am named for the Ginger Gold apple, one of the 15 most popular apples in the US according to Wikipedia. This makes perfect sense since according to me, I might be the most popular puppy in the world. If you pick me—get it? “Pick” like apple picking—I will do my very best to keep you safe from  things like raindrops, wandering butterflies, and scary looking falling leaves. If you want to meet me, please email info@greatpyratlanta.com or click the “Apply to Adopt” button below.

Hello! I’m Pippin, one of the girl GPRA apple puppies and I weighed 9 lbs on 10.31.18 so I have a lot of growing ahead of me. And hopefully I have a lot of silly and special and loving family memories in my future, too. I know I have to do a little work, like learning to go potty outside and walk well on a leash, but all the big dogs say these things are worth it to have your own people! I’m ready to try so if you are ready, too then please email info@greatpyratlanta.com or click the “Apply to Adopt” button below.

I have no idea what a Kanzi apple is but I know I’m a female GPRA apple puppy, who weighed 9 lbs on 10.31.18,  and that my name means “hidden treasure” in Swahili. Well, I am definitely a treasure but you will not be able to hide me when I’m all grown up, that’s for sure! I love puppy wrestling with my siblings and falling asleep dreaming of toys, soft blankets, people petting me, and turning heads everywhere I go. Maybe we can go places together if you email info@greatpyratlanta.com or click the “Apply to Adopt” button below!

Hi, I’m one of the GPRA apple puppies and I weighed 12 lbs on 10.31.18! You probably guessed I am a boy since I have a human name; now all I need is the humans to go with it. I heard a big dog say people are the best because they play with you and give you treats and let you go outside to potty and say silly things, and laugh when you do puppy stuff and, and, and… I just cannot stop thinking about having my own people. If you are also thinking about having me, please email info@greatpyratlanta.com or click the “Apply to Adopt” button below!
