Hi! I’m Morgan and I just arrived at GPRA with my other siblings. We were left under a bridge with a bag of food, and thankfully, we were rescued! We are currently in some wonderful foster homes, have seen the vet for an examination, and had a much needed bath.

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.

I’m Doc Brown, and I’m pleased to meet you! I know my namesake had white hair, and while I have helmet-head too, my hair is white and brown. My movie counterpart was known for inventing the time machine, but what makes me funky fresh is I’m good with other dogs and people. Film Doc Brown had a few dogs, and I’d wig out with them all. I love to play with my foster brother big time! When it’s time to chill, though, I am a total lap dog. I love to cuddle and curl up with my foster family for naps. If I hear something when I’m sleeping, I won’t say, “Great Scott!” like the original Doc Brown, but I will bark because I’m a true pyr. I may not have invented the time machine, but I’ll get working on it if I can speed up time to get home to you!

Marty McFly, here! Whether I’m in 1985, 1955, or even in 2022, you can be sure I love people and other dogs. I like to veg out with my family, and my foster dog brother, Doc Brown, and I like to motor around the house. Do you know what Doc Brown and I think is totally tubular?! Chew toys! We absolutely love them, and it’s great because then we don’t do grody things like chew on your shoes. While my namesake trusted his Nikes to get him around, I do just fine on the leash. I still need practice before I’m zooming around like my movie counterpart, but I’m good at learning! I have even started standing by the door to tell my foster mommy that I’m ready to go to the bathroom. Another radical thing I’ve learned is how to sit before getting my food. I’m one gnarly pup who is a little shy but very affectionate and sweet. You can come pick me up, or I’ll drive my DeLorean to you!
