My Story

Hi there, I’m Perrin!

I may be a big guy, but I’m really just a gentle soul who wants a calm home, a comfy place to lay my head, and a playful female dog to hang out with. I’m living in a great foster home right now, but what I really want is a forever family that understands me — and a chill canine lady I can bond with. If your sweet doggy girl is looking for a funny, loyal friend, I might be her pyrfect match.

Let’s get one thing straight: I love the outdoors. My happy place is the backyard where I can patrol and just enjoy the breeze. But I’m also great indoors and happy to nap on the floor, in a chair, or wherever the softest spot is.

I’m pretty easygoing — I don’t chew on things, I don’t drool, and I’m house-trained with a good routine. I know all my basic commands (sit, stay, come, leave it, down) and I’m great on a leash. I’ll even tell you when I need to go out with a polite bark. I’m calm in the car too — not my favorite thing, but I’ll settle in and nap like a pro.

Treats? Oh man, give me a treat and I’ll zoomie with joy. I might even shake my head and spin in circles from pure excitement. It’s not even just the treat — it’s the thrill of the whole experience. My favorite? Stella & Chewy’s fish jerky, but honestly, I’m just thrilled you’re offering me something special.

I’m not really into toys — I prefer nature, naps, and neck scritches. I do bark a little at strange noises or visitors, but once I know you’re a friend, I’m all about the love. I adore people, both men and women, and love being petted all over. I’m super easy when it comes to taking pills or getting brushed.
