Jolly greetings, pyr friends! I’m James, and I am jazzed to meet you! I’m a young pyr boy who likes to have joyful zoomies in the backyard. While I enjoy jetting about the yard, I love naps too. Even though I have a jolly and sweet personality, I do prefer the quiet life. Cars and other dogs barking still give me the jitters, but with positive reinforcement (treats and praise), I know I can get used to these things. In general, however, I have a jocund and easy-going personality, and I jive with people and dogs. We can meet them when we take a jaunt around the neighborhood as I’m good on the leash. Being home with people, though, is my jam! You’ll see my jowls turn up into a smile every time you pet me because getting affection is my favorite activity. My tail will even do a little jig for you while I wag it side-to-side to show you how happy I am! In my new home, I’ll also need a doggy companion to my best friend, especially when you’re not home, because a dog brother or sister will make me feel confident and safe. What will really make you jovial is that I’m basically housetrained. I haven’t had an accident yet! Please consider adopting me today. I know we’ll fit perfectly like interlocking pieces of a jigsaw puzzle!

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
