My Story

Hi there! I’m Sir Reginald… but my friends call me Humphrey🐾

I’m a sweet, friendly, playful guy with a big personality, and I’m currently looking for a forever home where I can keep learning and growing.

The first thing you should know about me is that I LOVE people—adults, kids, visitors… you name it! Being around humans is my favorite thing, and I’m always ready to say hello (and maybe sneak in a few kisses if you’ll let me). I’ve been told I can be a bit ā€œenthusiasticā€ with my love, but I just can’t help it!

I’m also a huge fan of other dogs. Like… really love them. If I see a new friend on a walk, I get very excited and may try to go introduce myself immediately. With a little patience and training, I know I can learn to be a perfect gentleman on the leash. After all, a dog named Sir Reginald should have good manners!

I’m a smart boy and know some commands like sit, down, stay, and off… especially if you’ve got a treat in hand (hint hint šŸ˜„). Speaking of treats—I’m very motivated by them, so training me is actually pretty fun!

At home, I’m happiest when I have structure. My crate is my safe space, and I do really well when I have a routine.

I still have a bit of a puppy side. If you leave things like shoes, pillows, or boxes lying around, I might think they’re fun chew toys. I’m not trying to be naughty—I just need some guidance and the right things to chew on. With a little structure, I know I can grow into a well-mannered gentleman.

I ride well in the car—sometimes I just need a little encouragement getting in. But once I’m in, I’m the perfect co-pilot for errands or adventures!

So… are you ready to add a little royalty (and a lot of personality) to your life?? I’d love the chance to meet you and start our next chapter.

Love,
Sir Reginald (Humphrey)

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
