Hi-ya, pyr people! It’s jolly good to meet you! I am Clayton, but everyone calls me JJ. One thing that’s just amazing about me is I’m housetrained. As a young pyr boy, I like to keep things jazzy. That means I move to the beat. You’ll notice that my tail is always wagging! It’ll keep wagging when we go for a jaunt in the park. I have a lot of good energy and have even been called athletic, so walking at a jiffy pace is one of my favorite activities! I do pull a little when I get excited about something like other dogs, but, otherwise, I’m good on the leash. Because of my youthful personality, I like a day jam-packed with fun, so I’ll definitely need a family with an active lifestyle. With all that activity, I’m still a good listener. I’ve already learned sit, stay, and down. A yard to play in will bring me a lot of joy too! I’d also need to go to a home with another dog. Joining in with a doggy friend for a run around the backyard would be a jubilee! Cats are just fine too. If you want to take me to the dog park, I ride really well in the car. Car rides are my jam, so I’ll totally go with you for your morning coffee run! While a lot of people get their boost from a cup of joe, my spirits are always uplifted by my humans. I’m a very affectionate and happy dog who feels the most jovial around my family. Please think about adopting me. I promise that bringing me home will be like winning the jackpot!

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.

Big Girl here… but you can call me B.G. (or maybe BeeGee?).

I am a very friendly gal looking for my forever family. I lived on a farm, but farm life can be lonely, and I’m told my personality is simply bubbling! My friends here at GPRA said they will help me find a home!
Here are some lyrics I heard on my drive over that sum up what I want to say:
“Nobody gets too much heaven no more, it’s harder to come by, I’m waitin’ in line”
So
“How deep is your love? I really mean to learn.”
Because
“If I can’t have you, I don’t want nobody else…”
And
“You don’t know what it’s like, to love somebody, the way I’ll love you.”

So drop what you are doing, and “Run to Me”!
