Hi, Everyone! We are Blizzard and Pearl! Since I’m big brother Blizzard, I thought I’d introduce us. We are a bonded pair looking to brighten your home with our sweetness! We’re both around two years old, and we love to sit by our foster parents and get pets. Our foster mom says that we are her favorite fosters so far! My little sister and I have made a good impression with our kind nature. Other things you might want to know as our potential pyr parents are that my sister Pearl really loves me and likes to follow my lead. Pearl is definitely the baby of the family, so she looks to me, her big brother, for guidance. We both also like the outdoors. When we’re indoors, I love to eat, but Pearl is more dainty and doesn’t eat a lot. Hotdogs are a different story, though. We both really love hotdogs as a treat! Little sister Pearl, here! I think I’ll take over for a bit. One of the reasons we are Foster Mama’s favorites is we are very good in the car, and we can go places on foot, or on paw, too! Although we walk easily on a leash, Foster Mom says we might need some manners training. We get super excited when we see people, so we like to jump up when we meet someone. Good thing is, we truly connect with our humans, so we can easily learn to take direction on not jumping up. Other than that, Mom says we are typical laid-back pyrs that deserve a loving home. Could that be with your family? If so, please contact GPRA, we would LOVE to meet you!

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
