Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.

Hi, is it my turn to introduce myself? Ok, here goes, I am Prince. My littermates, Tank, and Blue are also available for adoption. I feel bad for you because I know it will be challenging to pick only one of us. Just know, you can choose all three of us, if you have a hard time. Just kidding, I know three of us together might be a lot to handle.

A wonderful family adopted our mama, Bells, and our older half-brother. A few weeks after the adoption, they learned that mama was pregnant, and we were on the way. (Surprise!)

Our mama is a GPRA rescue, full Great Pyrenees, and our dad is a German Shepherd (we were DNA tested)! So, this means that we are Germanees, the offspring of a German Shepherd and a Great Pyrenees.

Like every puppy, I have a short checklist of things that will help me grow up to be the very best Germanees I can be, which includes: lots of love, lots of patience, lots of training, lots of consistency, lots of exercise, and lots of time with our favorite humans.

Hi there, I’m Toby, a shy little boy new to the world of human interaction but my foster parents are quickly changing that. A nice farmer contacted GPRA to help me and my 2 brothers find great homes and we don’t really know what all the picking up, petting and BATHS, yes BATHS is about.  But I’m ready to learn from my great foster family how to enjoy being held and cuddled and petted.  If you want me bring me home to help me continue to learn how to be part of a family, email GPRA  info@greatpyratlanta.com today!  P.S.  I look much better after my first bath this afternoon, stay tuned for more pics from our foster family.
