Hi, my name is Maximus, I am approximately 8.5 years old. I am returning to GPRA because there have been some very large changes taking place in my former household and I am just not a happy camper about it. I know that GPRA made a promise to me when I was first adopted out that they would always ensure that my happiest was their first priority. As much as I really love my last family, it is time for me to find a new home where I can just hang around and enjoy the 2nd chapter of my life. I will do best in a home where there are no small children. It is not that I don’t like them, I love kids, but at this stage in my life I need a calmer home. I am great on a leash and love taking walks. Did I mention that I have wonderful house manners. Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
