I’m Smee! I’m a 7-month-old, 56 lb Pyr/Golden mix puppy that is loving my foster family. They have so many good things to say about me: I am housetrained! No accidents in the house at all! I am great with all of the dogs, big and small, in their house and am so curious, that I follow them everywhere to see what they are doing. I love to play. I can even chase a ball. I am gentle with the kittens and even snuggled and cleaned a tiny little puppy. Then, after all of the excitement of checking out cats and kittens and playing with my kids, I love to get up on the sofa and snuggle with my family. I am very snuggly. Sometimes I get a little scared because there are so many new things but, hey, it’s a lot to discover and learn. I am ready for my fur-ever home and my kids say “somebody will be incredibly lucky to have me as their companion because I’m amazing!” If you think so too, please email info@greatpyratlanta.com or click “Apply to Adopt” below soon!

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.

Seven-month-old Jasper here! Hard to imagine my family took me to the groomers and never picked me up but that was my road to GPRA. So, now I’m looking for the road to your heart. And kitchen. And backyard. I’m all kinds of cute, super sweet, and of course, need the usual puppy training and patience. I’m too young to have a past but we can share our futures if you please email info@greatpyratlanta.com or click “Apply to Adopt” below.

Hi, I am the spunky new kid on the block.  My name is Baloo.  I am a 7 month old who currently weights in around 70 lbs.  I love all things and will make a great family pet.  I am great around other dog and love playing with kids.  Just like all the other pyrs, I will be a big boy and need to have a home where I get plenty of exercise and training so that I do not become the neighborhood terror.  Do you think I would fit perfect in your home?  Contact GPRA today for more information at info@greatpyratlanta.com.

Hello everyone, my name is Edith and I am gorgeous 7 month old gal full of fun and love.  I was taken in by a great man who helped me from going to a shelter but I could not charm the landlord and now I have to find a new home.  I love hanging out with a family and spending that special time together.  I would love a family where I would grow up with some 2 legged playmates to play with and some furry ones too.  I am a sweet girl who deserves a wonderful life.  If you think I would be a great fit, contact GPRA today at info@greatpyratlanta.com.

Hi, My name is Zoey F.  I am a young girl close to 7 months old.  My story is a little painful to talk about so I will give you the quick cliff-note version.  I was hit by a car and could no longer walk.  Both my back legs were fractured and one hip needed surgery.  With the help of GPRA, and their amazing doctors and volunteers, I am slowing learning how to walk again and my future looks bright!  I am with an amazing foster who is helping me learn all about life and giving me daily massages to help me heal.   I am expected to make a full recovery and when I do, I will be so happy and excited that I would love to take rides to the park, take long strolls on cool evenings and even hit up the local ice cream shop.  I am really excited about what my future holds and I hope it is with you.  Contact GPRA today for more information at info@greatpyratlanta.com
